Once upon a time … or the success story of AIESEC Sibiu.

It all began 10 years ago … on the 22nd February 1999 a handful of young students from Economics and Engineering established AIESEC Sibiu, which today gathers 30 active members.

Because it has been a decade since the founding of AIESEC Sibiu, we decided to celebrate this special occasion together with the AIESEC Sibiu alumni.

There were 2 days of snow, laughter and happiness once the old members met up with the new ones, but also with those who found their way outside the country thanks to AIESEC Sibiu.

We intend to celebrate the whole year the 10th birthday of AIESEC Sibiu also with official events, not only with parties.

How was the party?

Well, just take a look:

If we would take a peek back, there were 10 years of success, fulfillments, projects, conferences and members which had unique experiences. They all have chosen the path of the AIESEC experience: from newbie-members to leaders (on a national level), no matter the country or interns in different countries.

We are proud of those people who made AIESEC Sibiu what it is today.

Also, let’s not forget our active members which make our committee be one with success, leadership and opportunities for personal growth.

Weekend-ul a fost absolut grozav. A fost cireaşa de pe tort, a fost cartoful din ciocul pasării, a fost mai tare ca ciocolata, mai mişto ca răsăritul, mai emoţionant ca Titanic-ul văzut la 13 ani, a fost mai energizant ca apa tonică cu nu ştiu ce săruri de mare, a fost mai bun ca algocalminul cand te doare capul sau ca o baie în mare dupa un an de dor.

Vreau să mulţumesc tuturor că fiecăruia ar dura prea mult, dar tuturor înclude fiecăruia. Şi nu multumesc pentru weekend, deşi aş putea, ci mulţumesc pentru tot ce-a fost până acum, pentru şuturi în fund, pentru conversaţii pre şi schimbătoare de parcurs, pentru momente haioase, pentru excese ale tinereţii, pentru transfer de poftă de viaţă, pentru încredere, pentru căldură, pentru chestii spirituale, dar şi materiale, pentru călătorii împreună, pentru idei diferite, pentru discuţii opărite si îmbrăţişări simţite.

Aşa că mulţumesc.
Şi mai vreau.

It’s that time of the year when the university freshmans make their appearance, and each organization strives to choose the best students for its community.

So does AIESEC Sibiu, like every fall, recruiting new members for one of the largest organizations of students from around the world, with representatives in more than 800 universities.

Why apply? Simply because a voluntary work matters, matters to career development, for your persona, but simply to experience “the AIESEC way.” And one of the main advantages (and many!) AIESEC is that you can go in exchange in any country you want, ’cause AIESEC is in over 100 countries.
